Members of TTM Technology, including Spark and DPControl, collaborated with Sony Europe to bring the experimental Rome smart city solution to life.
The goal is to enhance pedestrian safety, reduce traffic congestion, and optimize public transportation through innovative intelligent visual systems. This solution, named Genius Smart Tip, involves the installation of dual sensors at the top of existing street light poles, facing the surrounding roads. These sensors collect real-time information, which is then transmitted to the Envision platform, effectively delivering this data to relevant parties.
TTM Technology combined the expertise of DPControl and Spark to effectively develop this smart city solution.
DPControl is responsible for training neural networks and automating metadata. Additionally, they created the DAXPY platform using the Sony IMX500 artificial intelligence image sensor. Meanwhile, Spark handles product engineering and fine-tunes optical components for Genius Smart Tip.
